SEANIE has worked in the field of Sober Companionship privately since 2018, working primarily with individuals who struggle with alcohol dependency and substance abuse. For the last eight years he has been a member of Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and Al-Anon. After growing up with a family and a community that suffered from addiction he has a notorious passion to help others that face the challenges he himself has had to battle. Seanie is committed to building harm reduction plans for clients that address the physical, mental and spiritual components of alcoholism and addiction. He uses his personal experience through therapy and meditation to gently guide others along. He is also a marathon runner and channels his natural addictive traits through spirituality and physical activity. His goal is to work with clients of any age group and help them achieve long term abstinence from alcohol and drugs while pushing them to find their true potential in sobriety. Outside of his work in Sober Companionship, he is a long distance runner and has run the New York City marathon as well as numerous other races. He is also a prolific writer and has written several stage plays that have been produced in New York City and has also directed award-winning films he penned. He just finished writing his second book and has also produced over a dozen films over the last five years. Seanie holds a bachelor’s degree in TV, Radio, and New Media from the Institute of Technology, Tralee, in Ireland, where he grew up. He moved to New York City in 2005 and has been living in the United States since.
