What is an Intervention?
An intervention is a professionally-guided conversation with loved ones. It is an invitation to choose a better life than the one they are living. Our highly trained interventionists guide you through every step of the way in building a change plan and inviting the loved one to participate in their care.
Most people don’t know but a majority of the work of an intervention is done before any events take place.
Our Intervention Process
- First, a thorough, formal assessment is made to understand the entirety of the case. This includes conversations with anybody who is relevant to the loved one and willing to help. We do a family map to understand the dynamics of the conversation and who can reach the individual.
- From this assessment we consult with our clinical team what is the best recommendation for a change plan.
- Once we have this change plan we arrange all the details in the hopeful case the loved one agrees to get help.
We provide safe transport services with a trained professional.
Everyone is different in how they respond to help.
We rely on the most effective and up-to-date training of interventions. We lean heavily into careful clinical analysis and logistical planning. Then the art of being in the moment and having a real life conversation based on love, truth and compassion guides us.
The intervention is not a one-time event. It is the beginning of a bigger conversation that we hope to continue having with you and your loved one.
