ERNESTO lived a fast life on the streets of the Bronx accelerating him to get sober before he could even take a legal drink. Being raised in a multi-racial family with a father who was a college professor gave him even more maturity and understanding than most people his age. Now he is a coach who has the wisdom of someone much older, but who can relate to younger clients who are on their way to the bottom he already hit. Familiar with Native American Ceremonies (his introduction to recovery), inpatient treatment, therapy, 12-step programs, as well as other therapeutic, spiritual and healing modalities, Ernesto brings a multi-faceted experience of recovery to each relationship. Winning the battle with mental health has taught him compassion and true empathy with others. Finally, he has the training to back up his work as a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counsellor (CASAC) as well as certified in Trauma-Informed Care.
