MARIAH was raised in New York City on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, where she attended the all girl’s private school, Convent of The Sacred Heart. Over the years, she has successfully battled alcoholism, eating disorders, anxiety/depression, divorce and trauma. Today she lives in surrender and serenity, as a sober woman of integrity, who has created for herself a life of purpose and a life worth living. Her personal goal and ambition is to provide the same for other women based on her own experience, strength and hope, along with open access to all of the resources and life skills that she has collected throughout her journey. Additionally, she is a mother to a 13 year-old son, Bake, who struggles with learning disabilities and who also has the kindest, most brightest heart, soul and smile. She enjoys all types of exercise (particularly yoga, spinning, Pilates and weight training), clean living and eating, as well as preparing and cooking meals, and she actively participates in recovery programs such as AA and Al-Anon. She has a daily practice of meditation, journaling, reading inspirational based literature, prayer and fellowship. She is also a big champion of the great outdoors, music and the arts, photography, psychology, and writing poetry (She is a member of the Academy of American Poets).
