BRIAN has worked in the field of Sober Companionship privately since 2016. Working primarily with individuals who struggle with alcohol dependency, substance abuse and sex addiction. For 10 years through Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous Brian is committed to building harm reduction plans for clients that address the physical, mental and spiritual components of alcoholism and addiction. He uses his personal experience through therapy, meditation and physical activity as a living example of how an individual can break free from the cycle of addiction to live a more fulfilling life. Clients have spanned ages 16 through 50 across a broad range of socioeconomic classes. He has taken clients to and from treatment, traveled on tour and taken on short term engagements that required making sure clients schedules and obligations were met while working through a treatment plan. Outside of his work in Sober Companionship he founded a boxing program called 12 Rounds for people interested in alternate forms of recovery. This program combines boxing, meditation and visualization exercises to get people out of their heads and into their bodies to face the trauma that has led them to addiction. He works as a trainer at Overthrow New York, a boxing gym and lifestyle brand, training a dynamic client base from adolescents to professionals. From 2011-2013 he fought in the New York Golden Gloves under the tutelage of Two Time World Champion Joey Gamach. He holds a B.A. from Fordham University at Lincoln Center.
